You don't leave a map half explored.
The credits rolling is not the end for you. There's a map with question marks still on it, a side quest you skipped, a boss you beat on the third try and want to beat clean.
You pick games that are big enough to live in for a month, and you tend to finish them properly. Your backlog is short because you actually play it.
